Ellie's Preschool Run-Run Reindeer

Ellie's Preschool Christmas program

Ellie's Preschool Christmas program was on Friday and she did good job singing her songs! After the children sang Christmas songs Santa surprised the children with a visit, each of the children had a chance to tell him what they want one last time before he packs his sleigh. He also surprised them with a present. After the program Santa was kind enough to stay for some family pictures. Santa made sure to ask if Great Grandma was good this year!!!! Ellie was happy to get a picture with Mrs. Collison, who she loves.

Rudolph

Ellie singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Story time with Mrs. Claus

Today at Story time Mrs. Claus came to visit with the children. She read them Christmas books and sang Christmas songs with them. Mrs. Claus also took notes of what the children want from Santa, just in case he forgets.

Sunday School Pageant

Ellie had her first Sunday school Christmas pageant on December 14th and it was very cute. All the children did very well. The pre-K and K were God's little sheep. Ellie worked very hard on knowing her songs, Saturday night before the pageant I went in to check on Ellie after she had gone to sleep and I pulled the blankets up on her and she started singing "Away in a Manager" in her sleep, too cute!!!!!!!!! She loves singing and can't wait for her preschool Christmas program. And Sydney was very well behaved, providing we were in Church for 3 hours that morning.

Can't wait for Santa

Ellie and Sydney had lots of fun at "Breakfast with Santa"! We had Yummy pancakes and sausages and were able to spend time with Santa. And look at our cute T-shirts!

Chuck E Cheeses

Mom and Dad took the girls for some fun at Chuck E. Cheeses! They had a blast playing the games and playing in the activity land.

16 weeks and counting

Ringing Bells

Ellie, Sydney and Mom had fun ringing bells for the Salvation Army at our nearby Festival Foods. We were able to capitalize on how cute the girls were for donations, a lot of people commented on "how they couldn't not give"! Good Job girls!

I love NY!

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa recently went on a cruise and brought us back these t-shirts. Don't we look cute!

Trick-or-Treating!

Ellie and Sydney had a blast trick-or-treating. They received lots of candy and had fun seeing the neighbors and all the kids dressed up. Sydney walked the whole neighborhood, I would ask her "Sydney do you want to ride in the stroller?" and she would say "No, Mom, run!" She ran and walked so much that the next day her feet were sore and she had to resort to crawling around. It was so cute to watch her crawl from one thing to another, she would say "Foot, Owee, Mom!"
Now that Halloween is over they are very excited about the Christmas holiday and Santa coming! They are so cute they convinced me to put up our new Christmas tree. I know it is a little early but you are young only once and the holidays are so special to them that I can't help but indulge them. Plus who doesn't like the glow of a Christmas tree??

Ellie enjoyed her first friend Birthday party, Bianca a good friend and neighbor turned 4; her party was held at Snips & Giggles in Depere, where the girls had an updo with princess crown, their makeup done and a mini mani. The girls had a blast, when they were done being pampered they played dress up and had a disco party. The party ended with cake and the Birthday girl opening presents. Ellie said she had an AWESOME time.

Back to School

Well Friday was Ellie's first day of preschool. She had a blast. Her teacher is Mrs. Collison and Mrs. Swaitnicki, she has many new friends, and a few friends from last year school. They will be working on letters, numbers and writing skills and continue to work on social skills. Her favorite time at school is still the arts and crafts, guess she gets that from Mom and Grammi, and she loves snack time too.

Today was her first day of Sunday school at church and she really enjoyed that also. She loves meeting new friends! She is excited to learn about God and make those crafts. Oh and they also have snack time which she is excited about.

So off to a busy year we are!

This is our first blog and we hope you enjoy it.

It is September which is the beginning of the end of summer. We are very sad to see it go but Ellie is very excited to start her 4 year preschool. She is attending Good Shepherd Preschool and can't wait to meet all her new friends and teachers. She is also starting her Ballet and Tap class this month and we are keeping busy with various other activities. They both enjoy Story Time at the library and it is wonderful living so close. Sydney has learned most of the songs and enjoys dancing and singing along. She has also been upgraded to a big girl bed and loves it, however she is often caught bouncing on it. Ellie finished 2 courses of swim class this summer at the YMCA and had a blast, she is very brave in the water. When we were up north at the lake swimming she would swim out to the raft and jump off with no fear! Sydney is definitely enjoying the water more, but she likes it on her terms-most everything is on her terms! They had a Princess Birthday this year and had a great time with good food and lots of presents.
