Winter Rec Fun

The shoes are adorable this size....

The girls impressed me how well they did with that heavy ball....

It is a shame we only bowl a couple times a year, we have so much fun!

What is more fun than a snowy day.... making the most delicious, most fantabulous Devil's food cupcake with oohey, goohey chocolate frosting from scratch. Wow, it's a good thing there are only a dozen to eat because I just might find myself hungry at midnight tonight and at that late hour there are no boundaries. :)

Skatin' Fun

Life is good!

Life just doesn't get any better than this.... enjoying a fresh cup of Jo with my little darlings and watching some cartoons. As everyone is rushing to punch the clock I am savoring every little moment, every little detail of this simple day. When I was deciding whether to stay home with my kids or return to work, people would tell me they couldn't imagine staying home, they need to get out of the house, they love their job, and they want to work. I loved my job and loved the challenge of every day but my present job would kick my previous job's bottom all the way to the bank, even if my current job is paid with mounds of laundry and stacks of dishes and my supervisors are persistent and think nothing of making me work 24 hour shifts only to return with little to no sleep and still expect the utmost of quality care. I can easily say I have the best job in the world and I know some of my peeps can agree. Happy Monday....

Lambeau Leap Event

The kids had a blast at this year's Lambeau Leap, Sydney's favorite was the kid's bungee trampoline, Ellie wasn't too sure about it so she participated in the cheer leading instructional, but they both agreed they had lots of fun.

Spring has Sprung!!

The weather has warmed up a bit and we are taking advantage of every extra degree we can get.

Ellie and I dolled up for the Mother Daughter Tea party for Girl Scouts.

The kindness of others....

Yesterday we were reminded of the kindness of others and just how good the human spirit can be renewed due to the generosity of others. We are truly blessed with such kind neighbors....

The sweet sound of hammering....

Today the kids enjoyed hammering nails and gluing wood, even Jace got his hands dirty with the job. I was pleasantly surprised how well Ellie followed the directions and constructed her race car on her own and Sydney seems very relaxed with hammering within millimeters of her little fingers(made Mom a bit nervous but every kid needs their war wounds), and Jace, well give him a hammer and he can have all kinds fun...
