Summer School

Ellie is off to summer school. The bus picked her up today, she was so excited to get on the bus and go to school. She will be going to summer school 5 days a week through the end of July. The class she is attending is "Ready for Kindergarten", it will give her an idea of what to expect this fall. In the 1 picture she is seated in the 3rd window seat. She looks a little unsure of the situation. Can't believe where the time has gone.

Jace is 2 months old!

Jace is already 2 months old. He is doing great, he is a good sleeper and eater. Last week while Matt was on vacation from work he allowed us to sleep in until 8 am on most days. He goes down well and only wakes to eat 2 times and goes right back to sleep, allowing Mom to feel rested during the busy days. He loves to eat and takes to the bottle nicely (giving Mom a break). He weighs in at 15 lb 9 oz (99%) Length is 23 1/2 inches (70%) and head circumference of 58%, which nicely fits his body. He is already growing out of some of his 3/6 month clothing. He is doing well with head control and likes to sit in his exersaucer and see what is going on around him. He smiles lots and coos a lot. He is overall a very happy baby and we are so blessed to have him. The girls can't kiss and hug him enough, Ellie wants him to chase her but we tell her she will have to wait a bit. Our house sometimes resembles a zoo but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Sydney getting her ears pierced.

Last week the girls had their ears pierced, they both did wonderful, no tears, Ellie actually laughed and you can watch Sydney's reaction. Ellie picked out pink rhinestone flowers and Sydney picked out diamond studs just like Mama wears.
