The simplest compliments sometimes mean the most
Today the kids and I had dental appointments, YAY!
So much fun spending 2 1/2 hours at the dentist but even more fun paying the bill.(hint of sarcasm)
But what I didn't expect to get was some very sweet compliments on how good the kids behaved,
apparently that is rarely seen. So even though my pocketbook was considerably lighter as we left
I was happy to know I am doing something right! :)

Is it really January 11th ??
This weather has been spectacular, we have been able to enjoy being outside and playing without all our winter gear, but as I write this the snow is falling and winter storm Angela has begun. I am sad to see our balmy 50 degree weather leave, but the kids are excited to finally have some of the white stuff to play in, and a reward of hot cocoa to take the chill off. So I'll sit back enjoy the scenery with thoughts that there is only 3 months left of the season.
