A visit from the Tooth Fairy

This is a very exciting time for Ellie, last week one of her bottom teeth started to wiggle. Every day she rocked it a little more and more, until yesterday when she allowed Mom to give it a good yank! So she wrote her letter to the Tooth Fairy and left her tooth on the dresser in hopes that the Fairy would have time to stop by last night. Luckily not only did she find the time to stop but she also left 2 dollars, I think she left an extra by accident and I told Ellie to put it on the dresser tonight for her to pick up but she had a convincing argument and stashed away both dollars. :)
She is already trying to figure out which one is next.

Sledding.....

We enjoyed some family time outside on Saturday sledding. I took Jace down the hill and at the beginning he was squealing at how much fun it was.....until it wasn't and the snow started to fly up in our faces. :)

My favorite Christmas pictures.....

First I must thank Steve Sasson, for creating the first digital camera.... over the Holiday I took more than 500 pictures. I know I am crazy with my camera but if even just one picture turns out perfect I am just thrilled. But to be honest more turned out beautiful than I thought.... so comes the hard part, deciding which ones absolutely need to be developed and enlarged. After a few hours I keep coming back to these 2 pictures, to me they just capture Christmas. I love the picture of the girls with Santa so much I had a 16 x 20 enlargement made and framed it for my kitchen.... I find myself looking at it so much I decided to leave it up until Spring.
