Jace loves doing laps around the coffee table, he goes pretty fast unless of course you're trying to video him doing it, the little stinker!

Jace is 9 Months Old!

Our little man is now 9 months old, weighs in at 21 lb and 10 oz and about 30 inches long. He has learned a lot in the past month. He loves clapping his hands, crawling everywhere (he now lives in a gated-community), and walking around the coffee table, transferring to the couch and back. He pulls himself to a standing position and loves that he can sit from a crawl position. Last week a tooth started to poke through and his favorite food right now is Cheerios (he can't seem to get enough of them). Today he started going for the stairs and likes the echo his already very loud voice creates. He is doing so great but makes his mama sad that her baby is no longer a baby but "our little man"

Ellie's Ice Skating Lesson for Girl Scouts

Ellie attended the Girl Scouts Ice Skating Lesson a couple of weeks ago. She did so well on the skates for it being her first time. She had a lot of fun and looks forward to more ice skating to come.

Ellie's 2nd Quarter of Kindergarten

Ellie is a talented musician. She is advanced vocally and kinesthetically. Please keep up the great work encouraging her as she may find an outlet in the fine arts. (She doesn't get that from me- that's for sure)

Jace is crawling!

Jace has been "army crawling" for the past few weeks and has now learned to crawl-he can go a lot faster the right way. He sometimes seems to forget how to and reverts back to army crawling but either way he gets to where he wants to!

This is one of the pictures that makes my heart smile! The girls were SUPER-excited to "camp out" in the same bunk together. They have so much fun together and we are so blessed to have our children in our lives. I am not sure we could imagine our lives without each of them.

Last night I went and saw Mamma Mia at the PAC in Appleton. The show was wonderfully funny and entertaining. The music and costumes were spectacular. This is definitely a show worth seeing and I would love to see it again the next time it visits the area.

Jace is 8 months old!

Today Jace is 8 months old. He isn't crawling yet but will get up on all four and rock back and forth. He also will use his arms to pull his body towards toys and kitchen utensils that he wants. It is quite entertaining to watch him, the girls just giggle. But overall he would prefer to stand. His balance is starting to come but he does get excited when standing and will topple over with surprise. He has learned to clap his hands and is pretty proud of himself when he does.
Jace celebrated his first Christmas and seemed to love all the attention and did a pretty good job at opening his gifts. I think he wanted to eat the paper more than the presents. :)
